5 Reasons Why Keith Richards Makes Me Happy

1. First, of course, he is the guitarist of the Rolling Stones and I love me some Stones! :)

2. Honky Tonk Woman is one of my most favorite rock songs.

3. He is proof that you don't have to give in to the fad that is botox.

4. He always seems like he has a good story to tell. I mean who else goes to Fiji, climbs up a tree at the age of I don't know, uh.. OLD, only to fall out, get a concussion and then be perfectly fine. Life should be lived in a manner in which you get good stories and I know Keith would not be at a loss for those!

5. He takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'! Keith to me is like the terminator of rockstars. He just keeps on keeping on and for that Keith Richards makes me smile! Long live Keith!

Or more loosely as realizing someone that thinks that they are God's gift to the world and once greatly insulted your intelligence can not even spell his own city on his company's website! Sometimes saying nothing in your defense and waiting for things to come back around is the best thing you can do! Now back to happy thoughts! :)

Why???

Why do they call it a drive thru if you are going to have to go inside anyway? EVERY TIME we go to a certain place that shall remain nameless, oh what the heck TACO BELL, they get our order wrong. So each and every time we get our order and try to be polite by driving up so that the next person can get their food we realize that we do not have the correct food and are no longer next to the window. This then means we have to get out of the car and go in to get them to redo the order at which point they never say sorry and never act as if they actually were the ones who messed up. Who knows maybe that little chihuahua from the old commercials is still in there somewhere and ate my nachos that they left out!

I am not posting a picture, because just looking at those things make my skin crawl! But what would possess someone to steal something that is venomous? You would think the word venom would scare people off and if not the words, " There is no anti venom for this particular snake", would certainly do the trick! I have heard it all now I do believe.

Weekly Words to Live By

If God would have wanted us to sleep in tents, get bitten by ants and have to pee behind a tree he would not have given architects the brains to build hotels! (That is my summer vacation tip for everyone!:) )

My past few weeks,(in pictures).

I have been so busy lately, but now I am back with pics to share.

I had time off so I got to spend it with my mom, dad and their puppy Charcoal.

My family, who we had not seen in two years, was able to visit us from Tennessee! We had a great time! We were able to fit in alot of the things that they wanted to do like an Astros game, Galveston, downtown Houston and San Antonio.

We went to the Alamo, the River Walk, to eat at my favorite place, Rio Rio, and on the little boat ride around the river. Gabriel decided to play with a cactus on the grounds of the Alamo. Let's hope he learned his lesson with that one! It was so very hot there, but it was still a great day.

We hung out in Galveston and took a trip on the ferry over to Port Boliver. We went to the beach where my family caught hermit crabs and I ran from them because they are really ugly, little critters. There were really pretty views of the lighthouse from the boat.

Then the weather took a turn for the worst. There was a threat of a tropical storm/small hurricane. Luckily it was not as bad as at first expected and there was hardly any damage. Barkley was ready, though, for any rain that came his way!

So True...
